Wheatland Tube, part of Zekelman Industries, is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Rochelle, IL. The role supports warehouse and distribution tasks including picking, packing, loading, and inventory control. You will operate material-handling equipment while prioritizing safety and quality.

The position requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing settings, with strong math and communication skills. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in steel, tubing, or related industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math for order processing.

Responsibilities

• Champion and enforce safe work practices per policy and regulations.
• Prepare materials, products and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Process and fulfill customer and internal orders.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders with accuracy using scanning tools.
• Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receive, inspect, and report damaged materials.
• Replenish stock and rotate inventory with equipment.
• Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Standardize shipping/receiving procedures to improve accuracy.
