Job summary

Zekelman Industries’ Wheatland Tube division is seeking a Production Worker to support manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, reliability, and teamwork in producing high-quality steel tubing.

This full-time, on-site role in Wheatland, PA involves operating tools and equipment, maintaining safety, and meeting production goals on rotating 8-hour shifts. You’ll collaborate with teams, supervisors, and leadership to ensure quality, efficient production, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment, mobile equipment, cranes, or related machinery preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts, including overtime and weekend schedules when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment in a manufacturing environment to support daily operations.
• Operate packing, banding, and other production equipment to ensure products are prepared and processed according to quality standards.
• Operate mobile equipment and cranes safely and efficiently to support material movement and production activities.
• Perform work in hot and cold environments while maintaining awareness of moving equipment and surrounding hazards.
• Follow established safety procedures and workplace requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support production activities and operational goals through effective teamwork and communication.
• Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
