Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Nashville is seeking a full-time, non-exempt warehouse associate to perform receiving, shipping and warehousing tasks. The role involves reading and following work instructions, maintaining safety standards and supporting corporate policies.

Responsibilities include pulling and packing orders, ERP transactions, inventory counts and coordinating with Production and Program Management. Ideal candidates have prior warehousing and shipping/receiving experience, forklift

• Prior warehousing experience required.
• Shipping and/or receiving experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cooperative, diplomatic relationships with co-workers, supervisor, and the local community.
• Works as part of the team and collaborates with co-workers and colleagues.
• Reads, understands and follows all work instructions (WIs) for each function performed.
• Works in compliance with safety and all training.
• Adheres to and supports Quanta Manufacturing Nashville’s policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Uses proper lifting and material movement techniques.
• Pulls orders according to established procedures.
• Prepares and organizes orders for shipment per vendor routing instructions.
• Interfaces with Program Management regarding shipment quotation and analysis.
• Unloads trucks using lifting equipment.
• Inspects received materials for damage, identification and quantity.
• Performs transactions in ERP system.
• Pulls production material according to pick list and enters information into computer system.
• Participates in physical inventory and counts for accuracy.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse(s).
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor/Manager.
