Job summary

Alaskan Copper & Brass Co. is seeking a Warehouser/Non-CDL Truck Driver in Portland, OR. The role involves forklift operation, material handling, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Ideal candidates possess physical stamina and the ability to work day shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

You will assist in various warehouse functions, including packing and shipping, along with being a backup driver for a non-CDL flatbed truck. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Able to do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16'.
• Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
• Able to write and print legibly.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly and heavier weight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Determine material required for order and check orders of other Warehousers.
• Assist in pulling stock for orders, using relevant equipment as necessary.
• Use saw to cut material to specifications and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Package items and verify inventory for shipping requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
