Alaskan Copper Works in Seattle is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Assistant for the 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm). You will receive and verify items, place materials into bins, count and attach bin cards, pull items for shipment, and prepare boxes, crates, or pallets for loading.

You will use a lift truck, overhead crane, pneumatic nailers, and strapping machines, complete documentation, and load trucks. Must meet essential skills such as forklift experience, attention to detail, and ability to read

Qualifikationen

• Must be detailed oriented.
• Accurately use tape measure, accurate to 1/16".
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Must have neat, legible handwriting.
• Must have strong clerical skills.
• Minimum of one year of forklift operating experience.

Aufgaben

• Receive and verify items and store in bins.
• Count items and add to total on bin cards.
• Pull items for shipment and prepare packaging for shipment.
• Complete shipment documentation and load trucks.
• Operate lift trucks and overhead crane as needed.
