Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Irvine, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a 12-month contract. The position is 1st shift (8:00 am–5:00 pm), 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $16–$20 per hour.

This role focuses on shipping, receiving and order picking in a medical device company environment. Responsibilities include unpacking and inspecting shipments, verifying against purchase orders, maintaining receiving records and supporting inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Unpacks and inspects incoming shipments and records receipts.

Job Description

• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, inspects for any freight damage, and records receipts.
• Compares incoming shipments and packing slips to purchase order for accuracy.
• Routes incoming goods and receiving documents according to department procedures.
• Maintains receiving records.
• Maintains the integrity of warehouse inventory, including ensuring physical security of the warehouse, limiting access and securing specified areas as instructed, keeping the warehouse area clean and safe, and maintaining necessary inventory location logs.
• Pulls and issues product to the production floor.
• Pulling Kanban cards were applicable and ensuring cards are sent to purchasing, as instructed.
• Verifies materials received in warehouse have been inspected and identified with lot control number.
• Prepares documentation for inventory movement transactions according to the department policies; completes transactions and records to trace movement of all materials issued.
• Performs cycle count activities, verifying material movement cut-off and providing cycle count information to management.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
