Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking a Warehouse Operator with material handling, manufacturing and warehouse experience. This 12-month contract on W2 runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime as needed, totaling 40 hours per week.

The role requires basic math and English literacy, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will handle receiving, inventory transactions, and kit building for production lines.

• documenting all material transactions, both on paper and electronically, for traceability purposes.

Job Description

• Occasional use of equipment such as handcarts and pallet jacks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse.
• May maintain records.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision.
• Need someone who is strong in material handling and experienced in manufacturing & warehouse with shipping, receiving & moving components.
• High school diploma or equivalent : Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.

• Basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
• Worker is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.
