Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Operator I for a 12-month contract on W2. Shift is Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The role involves handling packing and shipping tasks in a medical devices environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting receiving and distribution activities. Requires a high school diploma and a stock picker license, with basic reading, writing and arithmetic

Roles & Responsibilities

• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials.
• Ability to work independently as required. May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
• Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process, and finished goods), parts, and supplies, to operators, work stations and distribution center.
• Uses hand/or electric trucks, sit down forklifts, Stand up forklift, Order Picker and/or Turret truck requiring licenses. May prepare goods for final shipment (domestic and international).
• Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer). Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution function, packaging equipment and parcel systems. Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.

Experience Required

• Stock picker power truck license required
• Sit down and stand up forklift desired
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to safely operate all required equipment and use packaging equipment, parcel and/or computer systems is required.
• Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations
• Must perform accurate functions and maintain inventory accuracy while performing his/her day-to-day tasks
