Job summary

WinCo Foods in Boise, ID is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to accurately select products and prepare store orders for shipment. You will operate powered industrial equipment and stage pallets for loading, contributing to fast, safe deliveries to our stores.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 80-100 lbs occasionally, and to stand and move for long periods. A strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA standards are essential, with work including nights,

Qualifications

Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 80-100 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly for long periods.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Willingness to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Obtain required licensing to operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Picks orders by selecting items from the warehouse according to a pick list and stages pallets for shipment.
Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to move pallets from receiving docks to reserve slots and then to pick slots.
Receives product, checks and documents it for accuracy, condition, and labeling.
Ensures proper weight distribution and consolidates loads for safe transport.
Maintains safety, cleanliness, and productivity standards; performs other duties as assigned.
