Farwest Steel Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Operations associate for our Boise area facility. The role focuses on safe, accurate order fulfillment, material handling, and supporting production and sales teams onsite.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and overhead cranes, loading/unloading shipments, preparing material for delivery, and maintaining inventory accuracy. A strong emphasis on teamwork and safety accompanies a competitive, benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment with others and treat employees and customers with respect, courtesy and tact.
• Perform routine office support, understand written and oral instruction, make mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately fill orders with stock material or processed parts.
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars with forklift and overhead cranes.
• Assist machine operators and operate various machines and equipment necessary to service customer needs and add value to sales.
• Assist sales with warehouse and inventory information.
