Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate in Indio, CA. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and transport packages while using RF devices to scan and sort orders.

Daily duties include receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and complying with PPE requirements (including harness up to 400 lbs).

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and accident free.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements, including harness usage up to 400 lbs.
