Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift/loader experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or manufacturing.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and leaders.
• Customer-service oriented with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work in an uncontrolled climate and outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to be moved or shipped.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Sort and place materials on racks according to predetermined sequence.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in shipping area.
• Inspect outgoing material for accuracy.
• Assist in performing inventory on material.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Assist in unloading and loading of material for customers.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, pushing, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed via computer.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
