• Load outbound freight with forklift and/or crane and seal outbound containers and vehicles.
• Inspect cargo carrying units (CCUs), slings, straps, and containers for damage and compliance.
• Order, validate, and move CCUs within the operation for loading and unloading.
• Pass completed paperwork to the Logistics Coordinator for shipment processing.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a safety-minded Warehouse Operator with crane and forklift experience to join our Operations team in Schriever. You’ll receive, inspect, and load freight, keeping materials moving safely and accurately from inbound to outbound. If you take pride in doing the job right and sending everyone home safe, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and forklifts safely, completing all pre-use checklists before every shift
• Unload inbound containers and delivery vehicles, verifying delivery documentation
• Load outbound freight with forklift and/or crane, then verify documentation and seal outbound containers and vehicles
• Inspect cargo carrying units (CCUs), slings, straps, and containers for damage and spec compliance
• Order, validate, and move CCUs within the operation for loading and unloading
• Pass completed paperwork to the Logistics Coordinator for shipment processing
• Support teammates with heavy lifting across Stager, Inbound, Outbound, and Maintenance
• Follow warehouse policies and procedures and help find ways to improve efficiency and productivity
• Identify and report hazards and occupational risks to help maintain a safe work environment
• Take direction from the Operations Lead and raise department or employee concerns appropriately
• Support projects that drive cost savings, process improvements, and infrastructure changes

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts and cranes in a warehouse, yard, or industrial setting
• Current forklift certification (crane and/or rigging certification a plus)
• Ability to inspect equipment and complete safety checklists accurately
• Ability to read and verify shipping and delivery documents
• Ability to lift, bend, and work outdoors in Gulf Coast weather
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oilfield, marine, offshore supply base, or laydown yard operations
• Knowledge of CCU inspection and rigging (slings, shackles, straps)
