Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and cranes in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Current forklift certification (crane or rigging certification a plus).
• Ability to read and verify shipping/delivery documents and complete safety checklists.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and forklifts safely, completing all pre-use checklists before every shift.
• Unload inbound containers and verify delivery documentation.
• Load outbound freight with forklift and/or crane and seal outbound containers and vehicles.
• Inspect cargo carrying units (CCUs), slings, straps, and containers for damage and compliance.
• Order, validate, and move CCUs within the operation for loading and unloading.
• Pass completed paperwork to the Logistics Coordinator for shipment processing.
