Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Olive Branch, MS seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to perform data-entry for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance, and to support the supervisor in upholding quality standards.

The role requires basic computer skills, RF scanner and WMS experience, and a detail-oriented, self-motivated approach. Flexibility for nights/weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS functions.
• Basic to intermediate math skills to verify quantities and inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and timely task completion.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Return material from customer to factory.
• Work autonomously, reporting progress to supervisor/management.
• Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security.
• Conduct physical inventory as required.
• Assist in daily cycle counts and support shipping/receiving.
