Summary

As a Warehouse Customer Service Representative at DSV, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support related to warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person visits.
  2. Provide accurate information regarding order status, inventory availability, and shipping schedules.
  3. Investigate and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer issues effectively.
  5. Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges.
  6. Ensure orders are accurately entered into the system and fulfilled according to customer specifications.
  7. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries.
  8. Generate reports and summaries as needed to track customer service metrics and performance.
  9. Identify root causes of customer issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  10. Proactively address potential problems to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  11. Develop a deep understanding of DSV's warehouse services, capabilities, and offerings.
  12. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  13. Collaborate with warehouse operations, logistics, and sales teams to coordinate customer orders and requests.
  14. Communicate customer feedback and insights to relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  15. Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
  16. Solicit feedback from customers and implement enhancements to improve overall satisfaction.

Educational background / Work experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in customer service roles, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or warehousing industry.
  3. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or customer relationship management (CRM) software is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  2. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  2. Knowledge of transportation and supply chain management concepts.
  3. Certification or training in customer service or related areas.

Language skills

  1. Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

  1. Proficient in using computer systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  2. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and other business software applications.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $12.25 - $16.50/ Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
