Job summary

RTX is seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Troy, OH location to receive, store and move materials and parts. You will unload/load, maintain inventory records and support packaging and shipping activities.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, work the 4th shift (Friday-Saturday 6A-6P), and follow EH&S policies while wearing PPE. This position is onsite and part of Collins Aerospace, an RTX company.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year CNC machining experience or minimum of 2 years warehouse manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with technical documents (routings, blueprints, Engineering process specifications, written work instructions).

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments and follow supervisor instructions.
• Verify receipts and prepare required documentation (receivers, slips, inventory slips).
• Unload/load vehicles and transport materials within shipping, receiving or inspection areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and move items to appropriate departments.
• Prepare packaging supplies and setup SPL packaging jobs as needed.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and safe.

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator at our Troy, OH location. In this role you will receive and transport raw materials, parts and equipment; store and maintain parts in stockroom; assemble, package, and transport/load parts and equipment.

4th Shift: Friday-Saturday 6A-6P

What You Will Do

• Receive job assignment and any special instructions from supervisor.
• Read necessary documents to verify receipts, stockroom materials or shipment items. Prepare necessary documents in support of these duties, including but not limited to material verification slips, receivers, ID slips, inventory slips.
• Unload or load vehicles, transport materials within shipping, receiving or receiving inspection as required.
• Receive, store, and retrieve materials from work area and transport as necessary to Shipping, Assembly, Receiving Inspection, Warehouse, Assembly or cell/department and maintain correct inventory records.
• Initiate orders for packaging supplies when required. Set up SPL packaging jobs. Plan and/or order packaging supplies when required.
• Deliver materials to/or from mailroom to/or from Shipping and Receiving.
• Perform duties and operate equipment necessary to prepare items for shipment including but not limited to making boxes or crates, packaging, counting, weighing, labeling, painting or marking items, and appropriate paperwork to complete transaction.
• Maintain work areas and machines in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
• Attend training classes, departmental meetings and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Retrieve items from tool crib and complete forms/transactions as required.
• You will be required to perform substantial reaching and moving while standing, twisting; stooping; and be response to sounds associated to the work environment.
• You will be required to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted, anything over 25 lbs. would be assisted.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment as required.
• You will be required to adhere to all EH&S roles and responsibilities as stated in manufacturing work instructions and EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have
