Job summary

Unilever Raeford facility is hiring a Basic Operator to run warehouse/production equipment, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot process faults to ensure product quality and efficiency. You will operate equipment, support safety practices, and follow GMP/GLP/GDP standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing/warehousing, forklift experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years manufacturing/warehousing exp.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to stand, crouch and bend.
• May lift 5–50 lbs 15–40% of time.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic manufacturing principles for operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform line quality checks and follow SOPs/OPLs.
• Lead safety procedures and maintain housekeeping; follow 5S.
• Lead changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns of equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
• Develop and follow cleaning/inspection standards.
• Support continuous improvement using 5-Why and CAP-Do.
• Train and direct new teammates.
• Monitor equipment, interpret data, and make decisions.
