Job summary

Unilever Hammond, IN facility is hiring a Warehouse / Logistics Operator to operate forklifts and production equipment in a fast-paced consumer products environment. The role includes performing quality checks, coordinating with manufacturing and warehouse teams, and loading/unloading materials using a forklift.

This is a direct, full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement. Shifts rotate weekly with 7:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, and 23:00-07:00.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and leadership decision making skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and keep production running without supervision.
• Basic computer and production software literacy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and production equipment for packaging soap for shipment.
• Perform quality inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Warehouse operations.
• Load outbound trailers and move pallets as production demands.
• Perform cleaning and lubrication on equipment.
