The warehouse team plays a critical role in the overall function of the Komatsu facility by receiving, storing, and picking the components required to support the 4 major product lines manufactured at our Longview facility.Komatsu has some of the best benefits in East Texas – including health benefits (medical, dental & vision), a generous 401k contribution, annual bonus potential and merit increases.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work safe and be an advocate for safety.
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach and stand up, 6,000 – 10,000 lb.), hand cart and pallet jack.
• Loading and unloading a truck utilizing a forklift.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all parts received and distributed.
• Perform move transactions using a scan gun.
• Familiarity with operation of Raymond wire guided forklift.
• Load, unload, move, stack, pick, put away, stock, and arrange material in an accessible manner and according to standard warehouse practices.
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.
• Promptly communicating any errors or discrepancies.
• Strategically storing material to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
• Counting and confirming inventory.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Work experience, preferably in warehouse.
• Ability to operate forklift competently.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
• Agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours.
