Job Overview

If you haveforklift and/or warehouseexperience, this is a great opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive, and talented warehouse team as a Warehouse Operator! The warehouse team plays a critical role in the overall function of the Komatsu facility by receiving, storing, and picking the components required to support the 4 major product lines manufactured at our Longview facility.Komatsu has some of the best benefits in East Texas - including health benefits (medical, dental & vision), a generous 401k contribution, annual bonus potential and merit increases.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Work safe and be an advocate for safety.


2. Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach and stand up, 6,000 - 10,000 lb.), hand cart and pallet jack.


3. Loading and unloading a truck utilizing a forklift.


4. Maintaining an accurate record of all parts received and distributed.


5. Perform move transactions using a scan gun.


6. Familiarity with operation of Raymond wire guided forklift.


7. Load, unload, move, stack, pick, put away, stock, and arrange material in an accessible manner and according to standard warehouse practices.


8. Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.


9. Promptly communicating any errors or discrepancies.


10. Strategically storing material to maximize storage space within the warehouse.


11. Counting and confirming inventory.


12. Utilize SAP to do basic research.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Work experience, preferably in warehouse.


2. Ability to operate forklift competently.


3. Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.


4. Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening.


5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.


6. Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with a team.


7. Agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.


8. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.


9. Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.


10. Available to work extended hours.
