Your Role:

The Warehouse Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls, WI will:

• Route and deliver materials to storage or production areas using material handling equipment, including narrow aisle, wire-guided powered industrial trucks.
• Confirm customer orders before packing to ensure the correct chemicals are shipped.
• Pack materials in compliance with all applicable shipping regulations.

Daily responsibilities include:

1. Unload trailers using power equipment, verify freight, and sign bills of lading.
2. Sort, inspect, receive, and store products with scanners and systems like SAP.
3. Check chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, special requests, unit sizes, and weights against order documentation.
4. Pack materials following established procedures and hazard regulations.
5. Apply all required labels and markings to boxes to comply with hazardous materials regulations.
6. Select and stage products using power equipment.
7. Operate narrow aisle, wire-guided machines, including 'operator up' machines.
8. Communicate and resolve discrepancies with internal customers.
9. Deliver products to onsite customers and store them appropriately.
10. Maintain inventory accuracy and order records.
11. Coordinate with Procurement on discrepancies or issues.
12. Communicate with Customer Interface Departments on shipping issues and priorities.
13. Perform audit counts and verify locations with the system.
14. Remove and ship defective materials to vendors.

This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Basic PC skills
• Experience with SAP and WMS systems
• RF scanner proficiency, ability to move, crate, and audit materials
• Understanding of shipping regulations and locating shipping information
• Safe operation of powered and manual material handling equipment
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Effective time management skills
