Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Somerville, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Operator for first shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will perform picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, put away, and shipping using Blue Yonder WMS and related warehouse tech. A high school diploma and at least 6 months in a regulated warehouse are required.

Experience with MS Office and forklift operation is preferred. You will work in a safe, quality-driven environment with opportunities for skill growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months in a GxP or regulated warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and WMS systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, put away, and shipping of inventory.
• Maintaining effective relationships with distribution and customer service teams.
• Following regulatory and safety procedures while operating necessary warehouse technology and equipment.
• Achieving proficiency and compliance with all SOPs and company policies in qualified areas.
• Operating systems such as Blue Yonder WMS, ship lines, labelers, material handling equipment, and manifest systems.
• Communicating with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and ensure efficient operations.
• Participating in team meetings and supporting quality management strategies to improve warehouse processes

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.41 per hour

Shift:

1st shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential to work from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM when needed

• Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  
• Bring at least 6 months of work experience within a GxP or regulated warehouse environment (preferred)
  
• Possess basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Blue Yonder (preferred)
  
• Are willing to learn, work in a cold chain (2-8°C) environment, and become forklift certified
  
• Are comfortable operating warehouse equipment and are committed to maintaining high safety standards
