Job summary

Creative Food Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to handle receiving, storage, and shipping in our New York facility. You will unload and arrange inbound freight, manage bulk materials, and ensure accurate recording in the computer system.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong organization, and good communication to coordinate with production and shipping teams. Safe work practices and attention to detail are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for internal reporting and coordination.
• Basic computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Navision for data entry and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and arranging incoming freight for storage.
• Unloading raw materials and handling bulk materials for storage and production lines.
• Entering materials received into the computer system.
• Labeling, packing, and shipping of product; loading outgoing freight.

Description

Engages in receiving, transporting, stacking, sorting, supplying, shipping, maintaining and recording of stock in warehouse.

TASKS PERFORMED AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Unloading and arranging of incoming freight for storage in the warehouse.
2. Unloading raw material.
3. Handling of bulk materials unloading which includes hooking to the proper silo, sampling material and checking tailings.
4. Inspection of incoming freight to make sure all items on freight bill or bill of lading are received and notification to manager of damaged goods.
5. Entering materials received into computer system.
6. Labeling, casing and packing of product for shipment.
7. Loading of outgoing freight.
8. Moving of materials into and out of storage area or production departments.
9. Rotation of stock.
10. Involved in inventory of materials and product to determine supply requirements.
11. Cleaning of warehouse and production areas when necessary.
12. Move between East and Main Plants on production lines and shipping.
13. All other reasonable work requests from manager.

Machinery used: Computer, hand trucks, forklifts, dollies, cleaning equipment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in a food manufacturing facility, preferred
• Maintain a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills-Microsoft Word, Excel, Nav
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast passed environment
