Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Hicksville, NY to support inbound/outbound deliveries and final product packing. You will operate a forklift, palletize goods, and assist with cycle counts while maintaining clean, organized spaces and following SOPs.

The role requires basic math and reading/writing skills, 1 year of general work experience, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Weekend/OT availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Pay

$25.69 per hour

Shift & Working Hours

1st Shift; 07:00 AM to 3:30 PM Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
