Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Fremont, NE. The role pays $24.40 per hour and includes a $1,000 total bonus ($500 after 30 days and $500 after 6 months).

Shifts are 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with weekends and overtime as needed. You will pick, palletize, shrink-wrap, stage orders, and maintain safe, clean work areas. Forklift certification is required; you must be 18+, have at least 6 months of experience, basic computer and math skills, and be able to follow

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Successful forklift certification required.

Job description

Warehouse Operator Pay: $24.40 per hour. Hiring Bonus: $500 bonus after completing 30-day period. $500 bonus after completing 6 months of employment. Total of $1,000 bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
• Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Successful forklift certification required

Required Experience and Skills

• Must be 18 years or older
• 6+ months of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of warehousing work experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
• Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
