Job summary

Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene with North American headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. The Warehouse Operator role is based in Conover, NC and focuses on accurate picking/packing, RF scanning, and following WMS procedures to ensure on-time delivery.

The position offers growth within the supply chain and a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, basic math, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job.
• Prior warehouse forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic math aptitude.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform heavy and repetitive lifting, with up to 60 pounds required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanning equipment, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Be proficient in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to follow established procedures.
• Review and complete orders according to established guidelines. Retrieve merchandise from bins or shelves.
• Read order forms to confirm the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Inspect inventory items for defects before preparing them for shipment. Transport materials to departments using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, lift equipment, or conveyors.
• Place merchandise in totes, shipper cartons, carts, or pallets to be processed in packing or wrapping stations before being loaded onto shipping trucks or containers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
