Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic supply chain team in Rochester, United States. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and efficient material flow. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage inventory, coordinate material movements, and support our commitment to operational excellence.   • Manage inbound and outbound materials from and to suppliers with precision and attention to detail
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and the Kanban system to pick and feed materials from the warehouse to the production line
  • Monitor and oversee inventory levels in the production line's supermarket area to ensure smooth and uninterrupted material flow
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate, organized inventory records using appropriate documentation tools
  • Proactively identify and prevent material shortages through vigilant inventory monitoring and timely coordination with relevant teams
  • Collaborate closely with the purchasing and production teams to manage inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure timely material supply
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations, material handling processes, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements within the warehouse environment
  • Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or associate degree
  • Up to 2 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, or logistics roles (entry-level candidates are welcome)
  • Valid driver's license (required)
  • Forklift operation certification or experience (preferred)
  • Experience with ERP systems or warehouse management software (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic documentation tools
  • Prior experience in material management within a manufacturing or production environment (highly desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and compliance requirements
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
