Job summary

Staffmark Group in Bloomington, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operator to move materials safely and support daily warehouse operations. You will operate forklifts, unload shipments, and ensure inventory is correctly stored and tracked.

Qualifications

• Operate Sit-Down and Stand-Up forklifts and cherry pickers to move materials.

• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in computerized systems.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Operate Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Forklifts, and Cherry Pickers to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.


• Unload, receive, and unpack incoming shipments.


• Process inbound inventory and ensure accurate storage of materials.


• Scan, shelve, and organize products using barcode scanning equipment and inventory systems.


• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.


• Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory records within computerized inventory control systems.


• Conduct inventory control activities and assist with stock accuracy.


• Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required.


• Experience operating Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Forklifts, and Cherry Pickers.


• Experience working in warehouse, distribution, or inventory control environments preferred.


• Basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry tasks.


• Experience using barcode scanners and inventory management systems is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.


• Excellent attendance and reliability are required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move 40-50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform warehouse duties for extended periods.


• Comfortable operating powered industrial trucks and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


• Ability to safely load, unload, and move inventory throughout the facility.
