Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ships Services is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to join our Pasadena, TX location. The role supports the warehouse to maximize accuracy and efficiency, fulfilling orders and preparing them for shipment. Forklift certification and warehouse experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities include picking/packing, loading/unloading, stock transfers, and shipping/receiving with emphasis on safety and accuracy. Salary starts at $20.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification and/or ability to complete forklift training.
• Physical stamina; must be able to lift 85+ pounds at a time.
• Thorough, alert, and detailed-oriented.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

The ideal candidate will ensure our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment. Forklift certification and previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for delivery according to the pick lists and within the required time frames.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Down stacking product to correct location in warehouse.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Perform incoming goods control (products, quantities and labels).
• Participate in stock counts and report reasons for stock discrepancies.
• Transport packed goods to the correct shipment location in the warehouse/dispatch area.
• Ensure that all necessary transport labels are attached to the packed order.
• Transferring inventory between local and regional locations as needed
• Compliance with company safety procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and secure condition at all times.
