Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders according to pick lists within required time frames.
• Load and unload trucks.

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks.
• Perform incoming goods control (products, quantities and labels).
• Participate in stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Transport packed goods to the correct shipment area.
• Ensure proper transport labels are attached to packed orders.
• Transfer inventory between local and regional locations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment.

Wilhelmsen Ships Services is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to work in our Pasadena, Tx location. The ideal candidate will ensure our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment.

Forklift certification and previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Main responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for delivery according to the pick lists and within the required time frames.

• Load and unload trucks.

• Down stacking product to correct location in warehouse.

• Shipping and receiving.

• Perform incoming goods control (products, quantities and labels).

• Participate in stock counts and report reasons for stock discrepancies.

• Transport packed goods to the correct shipment location in the warehouse/dispatch area.

• Ensure that all necessary transport labels are attached to the packed order.

• Transferring inventory between local and regional locations as needed

• Compliance with company safety procedures, rules, and regulations

• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe and secure condition at all times.

Main Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus

• Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training

• Physical stamina; must be able to lift 85+ pounds at a time

• Thorough, alert, and detailed-oriented

• Good command of written and spoken English
