Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC seeks an Operations Supervisor for Coppell, TX. The role is full-time and on-site, with a primary mid-shift from 8:00 to 17:00 and a secondary swing shift for weekend coverage.

You will supervise 20+ warehouse staff and coordinate activities to receive, store, ship materials, and manage payroll. The position emphasizes inventory control, cycle counts, scheduling, and safety compliance while maintaining procedures and performance tracking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to supervise 20+ employees and manage payroll.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse staff.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts.
• Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff.
• Oversee safety procedures and maintain operation standards.
• Manage payroll for the department.
• Communicate procedures to warehouse associates.
• Train and evaluate employees.
