Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Direct supervision of 20+ employees in warehouse/operations environment

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly
• Assign workers based on workload and shipping schedules
• Communicate updated procedures to warehouse staff
• Track productivity and evaluate performance by function and department
• Work with Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy
• Oversee payroll for department
• Advise employees on handling of received, stored, and shipped items
• Investigate discrepancies between inventory and stock records and fix issues
• Develop work procedures, schedules, and expedite workflow
• Issue instructions and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Maintain harmony and resolve grievances among workers
• Direct supervision of 20+ employees in Operations
