Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide warehouse activities, ensuring accurate storage and distribution of materials while maintaining security. You will oversee deliveries, inventory accuracy, and safety programs to keep the operation efficient and compliant.

The role requires 3–5 years of shipping/receiving supervision experience, strong math skills, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and assignment of work to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels based on usage and demand forecasts.
• Receive shipments and enter tracking information for disbursement.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality; reject undesirable items.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in vendor communication and procurement as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve service.
• Provide training to warehouse staff and participate in recruitment when needed.
• Uncrate shipments and manage containers and packaging appropriately.
