Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Distribution to oversee warehouse operations. First-shift hours are Monday–Friday, approximately 6:30am–4:00pm, with a national salary range of $62,500–$70,000.

Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team while ensuring safety, compliance, and strong performance reporting. The role supports DHL’s position as a global leader in contract logistics across 500+ facilities and 50,000+ associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years operations lead/supervisor/management experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, preferred.
• Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
