Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, distribution, and stock management.
• Ability to supervise, train, and motivate employees while managing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory software, data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment, with required training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, loading, issuing, and distributing materials.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees; assign workloads, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate order processing, deliveries, pickups, transfers, and route scheduling for accurate fulfillment.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on inventory availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and timely WMS entries.
• Monitor stock levels, process requisitions, investigate discrepancies, and handle returns/damaged goods.
• Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, and inventories; support reporting and logs.
• Ensure efficient warehouse layout, space utilization, and product organization.
• Enforce safety procedures, correct material handling, and housekeeping standards.
• Operate forklifts and equipment safely; conduct inspections as required.
• Identify and resolve operational issues; implement improvements for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with management on audits, special projects, and changing business needs.
