Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide warehouse activities, ensuring accurate storage and distribution of materials while maintaining security and safety standards. The role oversees timely deliveries and supports vendor interactions to optimize costs.

The position emphasizes inventory control, process improvements, training of staff, and compliance with safety programs. Candidates should meet the stated experience requirements and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills."
• Flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and assignment of work to maximize efficiency of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and help set inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receive shipments and enter data into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, reject undesirable items.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in ordering from site vendors and advise management as needed.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse practices to boost efficiency and cut costs.
• Provide training to warehouse staff and assist in selecting employees.
• Uncrate shipments and manage disposal or storage of containers and packaging.
