Job summary

Hammitt, a Los Angeles-based luxury handbag brand, seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily DC activities and drive operational excellence. You’ll oversee receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and returns, while ensuring data integrity in the WMS and accurate order fulfillment.

You’ll mentor warehouse staff, optimize workflows, and partner with CS, Planning, Logistics, and Operations to resolve issues swiftly, supporting Hammitt’s premium customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience in luxury retail or fashion
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory processes
• Knowledge of NetSuite and ShipHero is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and order fulfillment.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for our Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data accuracy.
• Coordinate daily workflow and priorities to maximize productivity while upholding quality standards.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with CS, Planning, Logistics, and Operations to resolve issues quickly.
• Coach and develop warehouse associates while fostering a collaborative, safe culture.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations to protect inventory integrity.
• Analyze warehouse performance and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance in the warehouse.
• Support scheduling, staffing, onboarding, and day-to-day leadership of the warehouse team.
• Open and close as needed and assist the Warehouse Manager during peak periods

The Role

We're looking for someone hands‑on to oversee the daily operations of our Distribution Center while serving as the lead for our warehouse systems, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment processes. What You’ll Do

• Supervise warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and order fulfillment.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for our Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring inventory and order data remain accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate daily workflow and priorities to maximize productivity while maintaining top quality and service standards.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments daily to ensure all orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Partner closely with CS, Planning, Logistics, and Operations to resolve issues quickly and maintain seamless order fulfillment.
• Coach, train, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations to maintain inventory integrity.
• Analyze warehouse performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, onboarding, performance management, and day-to-day leadership of the warehouse team.
• Open and close as needed and serve as the Warehouse Manager's operational partner during peak periods and absences.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience in luxury retail, fashion, apparel, accessories, or CPG preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience with proven ability to lead, motivate, and train teams.
• Extensive experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge in NetSuite and ShipHero is a plus.
• Proven track record overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Strong proficiency improving warehouse workflows, SOPs, performance metrics and operational processes.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and spend extended periods walking and standing throughout the warehouse.
• Self‑starter with curiosity and a drive to learn, improve processes, and contribute fresh ideas.
• Collaborative team player who takes initiative, prioritizes, and thrives in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
