Job summary

Hammitt Inc. in the Los Angeles area seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead daily distribution center activities, oversee inventory accuracy, and drive order fulfillment excellence.

This hands-on role focuses on building a high‑performing team and scalable processes. You will partner with CS, Planning, Logistics, and Operations to optimize workflows, coach staff, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering Hammitt’s premium customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience in luxury retail, fashion, accessories, or CPG.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge in NetSuite and ShipHero is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and order fulfillment.
• Serve as the primary operational resource for the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring inventory and order data remain accurate.
• Coordinate daily workflow and priorities to maximize productivity while maintaining top quality and service standards.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments daily to ensure all orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Partner closely with CS, Planning, Logistics, and Operations to resolve issues quickly and maintain seamless order fulfillment.
• Coach, train, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and safety‑focused culture.
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations to maintain inventory integrity.
• Analyze warehouse performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, onboarding, performance management, and day‑to‑day leadership of the warehouse team.
• Open and close as needed and serve as the Warehouse Manager's operational partner during peak periods and absences.

The Role

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience in luxury retail, fashion, apparel, accessories, or CPG preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience with proven ability to lead, motivate, and train teams.
• Extensive experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management processes.
• Knowledge in NetSuite and ShipHero is a plus.
• Proven track record overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Strong proficiency improving warehouse workflows, SOPs, performance metrics and operational processes.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and spend extended periods walking and standing throughout the warehouse.
• Self‑starter with curiosity and a drive to learn, improve processes, and contribute fresh ideas.
• Collaborative team player who takes initiative, prioritizes, and thrives in a dynamic, quickly‑changing environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
