Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Finance)

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide support to dispatchers to meet customer requirements
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
• Monitor empty container availability and ensure timely pickup
• Handle escalated customer support issues
• Forward PODs on web-billed accounts
• Track container releases to prevent demurrage costs
• Develop and mentor staff to achieve goals; train on policies and procedures
• Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong leadership and creative thinking skills; ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees
