Job summary

R.S. Hughes Co., Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to support daily warehouse logistics, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, cycle counts, forklift operation, and HazMat handling, with a focus on process improvements and coaching staff in SOPs. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and a merit-based growth path.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related shipping/receiving experience.
• Must be Hazmat certified and able to operate warehouse equipment including forklift.
• Experience with warehouse systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Pull and manage customer orders accurately from inventory and verify with item numbers and serials.
• Receive, inspect, and log delivered items, and follow up on delays.
• Load/unload palletized freight and organize stock prior to shelving.
• Perform cycle counts to reconcile inventory records.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance, and proper handling of HazMat.
• Provide training and coaching to junior staff on SOPs and safety.
