Job summary

R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate II to support daily warehouse logistics, including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will adhere to safety policies and SOPs while maintaining accurate records and assisting with training.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, forklift operation, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment. On-site in Pelham, AL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and MS Office.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety and accuracy standards.
• Forklift certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull and verify customer orders from shelves; ensure accuracy.
• Manage Will Calls, cycle counts, and inventory records.
• Receive, inspect, log, and match deliveries to POs.
• Load/unload pallets and prepare shipments for carriers.
• Maintain organized shelves and comply with safety protocols.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Support training of team members and SOP adherence.
• Handle administrative tasks related to shipping and verifications.
