Preferred Floor & Tile CO. (PF&TCO) in Austin is seeking a Warehouse Worker to manage daily warehouse operations and support our flooring projects.

You will pick and stage materials, maintain accurate inventory, run shipping/receiving processes, and help keep the facility safe and organized. This role requires physical stamina, basic computer skills, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma or GED, plus 1–2 years related warehouse experience.
• Ability to read shipping docs and prepare reports.
• Experience in flooring warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks and stages daily jobs; preparing materials for daily jobs; accepts and properly stores inventory, and labels inventory.
• Ensures work orders, status updates, shipping/receiving confirmations, and material returns are entered into the company inventory system.
• Monitors inventory to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Processes freight trucks promptly.
• Conducts monthly inventory counts, identifies discrepancies and reconciles differences.
• Supervises and coaches staff to perform assigned duties and to develop skills and abilities.
• Organizes and maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse and facility, as well as the responsible outside area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
