Job summary

PF&TCO is seeking a Warehouse Worker to manage daily operations of a mid-size flooring warehouse and support inventory accuracy. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with responsibilities including staging, labeling, and processing shipments, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in warehouse operations, proficient English, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Forklift experience and a valid license are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience – High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience in warehouse operations and management.
• Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and to communicate in English.
• Flooring warehouse experience is preferred.
• Mathematical Skills – Basic algebra and geometry calculations.
• Reasoning Ability – Apply common sense in written or oral instructions.
• Computer Skills – Knowledge of basic computer applications (database, spreadsheet, email, word processing).
• Communication Skills – Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Vision – Able to read documents and screens.
• Driver’s license with personal car insurance.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Picks and stages daily jobs; prepares materials for daily jobs; accepts and stores inventory and labels it.
• Ensures work orders and shipping/receiving confirmations are entered into the inventory system.
• Monitors inventory accuracy at all times.
• Processes freight trucks promptly.
• Conducts monthly inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies.
• Supervises and coaches staff to perform duties and develop skills.
• Maintains warehouse and outdoor areas to be clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
