Job summary

Hoffman Beverage Company in Chesapeake, VA, is seeking an Operations Specialist. You will pick, receive, load/unload, replenish, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet riders, and a layer picker, with shifts starting at 9am and some overtime.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 165 lbs with or without assistance, professional communication, and preferred experience in warehouse or inventory software. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 165 lbs when handling keg products.
• Must communicate professionally with teammates and managers.
• Warehouse, merchandising, or wholesaler experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory/logistic software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select and complete next day orders for customers.
• Pull inventory from racks using automated equipment and devices.
• Check, verify, and audit products for count and damage.
• Build, wrap, tag, and stage orders during the shift.
• Build pallets and carts as needed; load trucks daily.
• Operate warehouse/order picking computer systems and equipment.
• Assist in replenishing pick floors and monitoring load sequence.
• Execute safety, build, and pick best practices; maintain equipment.
