Job summary

Hoffman Beverage Company in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Order Selector Specialist to load, pick, and move merchandise using warehouse equipment. You will fulfill orders for next-day delivery, verify counts, and maintain inventory accuracy.

The role offers base hourly pay with potential commissions based on orders packaged, along with benefits and growth opportunities. Monday–Friday shifts start around 9am, with occasional overtime during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 165 lbs for keg products.
• Must communicate professionally with teammates and managers.
• Must possess good organizational and time-management skills.
• Must quickly fulfill orders at a maintainable and safe speed.
• Preferred: warehouse, merchandising, or wholesaler experience.
• Preferred: working knowledge of powered equipment (electric pallet jacks).
• Preferred: hands-on experience with inventory and logistic software.

Responsibilities

• Select and complete next-day orders for customers.
• Pull inventory from racks manually or using automated equipment and hand-held devices.
• Check, verify and audit selected products for correct count and damage.
• Build, wrap, tag, and stage orders throughout the shift.
• Build up and breakdown pallets and carts as needed.
• Operate warehouse and order picking computer systems to fill orders.
• Load trucks daily using load sheets to verify the load sequence.
