Job summary

Freight Handlers in Michigan is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency across the dock and floor.

You will direct associates, coordinate assignments, implement improvements, and manage timekeeping, training, and performance expectations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Must have strong leadership, English communication, and a valid driver’s license; weekly pay and full-time opportunities are provided along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience receiving or unloading in warehouse or distribution setting.
• Ability to speak and write English for effective communication.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail; ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Directs associates to perform operations safely and efficiently.
• Uses daily huddles to communicate procedures and assignments.
• Coordinates work and ensures timely completion.
• Communicates with associates, management, partners and leadership to meet standards.
• Responsible for hiring, promotions, and terminations of associates.
• Implements changes for performance improvement.
• Maintains safety through daily inspections and audits; addresses threats.
• Ensures debris-free work area and proper safeguarding measures.
• Mentors and trains new associates; succession planning.
• Performs load verification and enforces Kronos timekeeping policies.
• Audits timekeeping and approves time; ensures daily load completion.
• Duties may change at management’s discretion.
