Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in the United States is seeking a seasoned logistics leader to design, manage, and optimize warehousing solutions within Contract Logistics. You will lead a team, coordinate staffing, and drive improvements across QSHE, reporting, and KPI delivery.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma, WMS experience, and strong communication to partner with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring safe, efficient operations and continuous cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of warehousing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership in a distribution environment.
• 1+ year leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of production and quality systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel (complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Blue Yonder or other WMS preferred.

• Support leadership and HR in advancing DEI initiatives.
• Supervise associates, manage schedules, and maintain attendance records.

• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives; track results.
• Lead or participate in BRMs and MBRs; develop and present KPIs to customers and stakeholders.
• Partner with customers to achieve shared objectives.
• Perform complex tasks requiring judgment, problem-solving, and analysis.
• Lead employee engagement events.

You will lead a team and have overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, staffing, safety, and performance of your area. We will count on your successful record of accomplishment in leadership and knowledge of warehouse equipment, applications, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) to ensure a positive, engaged workforce and to keep our operations running smoothly.
