Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Abilene, TX to lead daily warehouse activities and drive safety and efficiency. You will manage the crew, negotiate carrier rates, and ensure customer needs are met while maintaining accurate records and budgets.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of increasing management responsibility in distribution or transportation, strong leadership, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in distribution/transportation.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff.
• Strong organization, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Complete daily closeout and payroll records.
