Job summary

Cardinal Health in Ohio is seeking a Manager, Warehouse Operations to oversee inbound processing, receiving, put away and returns to achieve efficiency and safety. This role drives operational excellence and people management within a large distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 8+ years leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience leading supervisors and large employee populations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Manhattan, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily operational oversight for a team of supervisors and approximately 50 indirect associates across Inbound and Quality/Inventory Control functions.
• Direct warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of medical products while meeting objectives.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Foster a culture of respect, accountability, engagement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize labor utilization, throughput, and space utilization.
• Translate business objectives into measurable departmental goals and executable plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards; manage budgets and KPI performance.
